Come and join us for a lovely afternoon or evening of inspired boutique homewares, gifts and accessories shopping and wonderful food & drink at the inaugural Humble Country Fayre, a much-anticipated event which will be hosted in the beautiful grounds of the Claydon Estate in Buckinghamshire.

Amble amongst mini, open-sided white marquees in the picturesque walled gardens and browse handpicked, small independent brands selling a wide array of gorgeous, unexpected homewares from vibrant tableware including vases, glasses and eye-catching linen, to statement rugs, reclaimed wooden candlesticks, pretty throws and colourful cushions.
… Discover gifts & accessories, in a safe, summer setting
Relax with a great coffee and a delicious cake or pastry or a glass of chilled Prosecco in the June sunshine with friends or family – and enjoy the kick of uncovering the ideal gift or accessory: perhaps a handmade sterling silver bracelet, an eco-scented candle, or a fashion find with curb appeal, from comfy knits to cool-cotton kaftans.

Free demonstrations and style inspiration
Throughout both the Friday and the Saturday, the Humble Country team & skilled guests will be running a number of free demos in our open air Demo Tent, sponsored by WILDFLOWER MAGAZINE, on topics including the art of sour dough bread making, the creation of scents by perfumery experts, how to arm knit, or willow weave – see programme for full info.
This is also the perfect chance to ask authentic homewares stylists, vintage hunters and lovers of rustic interiors for their own ideas and inspiration as you pick up that beautiful ‘not seen before piece’ for your home or garden.

Keep refreshed while you shop
Visitors can enjoy delicious coffee, pastries and cakes; fabulous ice cream from Plum Honeychurch, plus South African street food and amazing wood-fired pizza. There will also be the chance to sample and buy fantastic locally produced artisan gins, plus chilled fizz and a selection of rare and wonderful wines at our Champagne and Wine Bar – not to be missed!

COVID-Safety
The Humble Country Fayre will be a safe, friendly outdoor event run in accordance with COVID-safety guidelines. Visitors will have ample room to stroll around the large open-air gardens and numbers will be strictly limited.
About Claydon Estate
Located in the beautiful North Buckinghamshire countryside, Claydon Estate is a thriving, family-run country estate and has been the ancestral home of the Verney family for 400 years.
The estate has over 170 acres of scenic parkland, lakes and gardens. At the heart of the estate is Claydon Courtyard, a vibrant hub for retail, wellbeing and art. Visitors to the Phoenix Kitchen can enjoy choosing from the daily specials, seasonal lunch menu or delicious homemade cakes.
The splendid National Trust property, Claydon House, is adjacent to the Courtyard and Gardens. The Claydon estate will provide an alluring backdrop to the Humble Country Summer Fayre.
