With half term and Halloween now behind us we begin to look guilt-free towards Christmas and our brand-new Christmas Fayre is on the horizon on 1-2 December. Months in the pipeline (we began scouring the County for the right venue back in the Spring) we now continue to carefully curate the line-up of brilliant small businesses taking part and are focused on setting the perfect scene for boutique Christmas shopping.
We have purposely planned to hold the Fayre early in December ensuring IT IS THE PERFECT TIME to shop and we already have a pleasing line-up of over 35 brilliant businesses taking part… with room for more (hurry and message us now if you’d like to participate…)
It’s because of this that I know our visitors are in for a real shopping treat…FREE tickets are being booked now by super organised shoppers at www.rectoryfarmpyo.co.uk and for those who make a more last-minute decision to come along, there is a small entrance charge of £3 on the day.
Visitors can expect to be able to browse stalls festooned with twinkly Christmas lights selling gorgeous decorations, tableware, jewellery, homewares, kitchen accessories, stationery, gifts, clothing & some fabulously unusual finds – you’ll be able to choose presents for everyone, all whilst supporting small businesses.
The pretty Oxfordshire village of Stanton St John is home to Rectory Farm – well known in the Summer months for pick your own fruits, as well as pumpkins in the Autumn and now making its debut as our Christmas event venue. Who knew boutique Christmas shopping could take place on a farm and all under one cosy roof too!!
Our Christmas Fayre is all staged inside cosy polytunnels on the farm, so the weather won’t stop us – we’re making it super easy to shop small this Christmas and tick off all the presents on your list in one fun visit! And it’s not just about the boutique shopping…Launched just this week are our brilliant workshops which will run alongside the shopping and add a serious extra reason for visiting.
Visitors can book these online in advance (www.rectoryfarmpyo.co.uk) and take a break from the shopping and get creative – make your own wreath or your own wrapping paper and personalised gift tags …so that’s Christmas all wrapped up!…oh and did we mention there’ll be delicious food including sour dough pizzas & warming soups, great coffee and tempting mulled wine, the farm shop & café to frequent and even festive face painters and a festive grotto for the smalls…there is LOTS going on!
Best described as a One-stop shop for Christmas we are truly excited to welcome everyone to Rectory Farm in just a few weeks’ time.
