Sorry it’s been a while – I’ve missed you!
Whilst the country experiences a period of such glorious balmy weather (lets hope that this continues!!), we all love to get outdoors, enjoy great family time, style our gardens as we would our homes, however then we discover that the trusty old cushions are beyond faded and the once elegantly rustic looking lanterns, are well, more rusty these days. I love being outdoors with friends – impromptu drinks and relaxed suppers, whilst the kids run amok in the stream that gently graces our garden and like to style my table to suit my mood and my guests. Think the Humble Country look – a good old tombola mix of old & new, hues of whites, greys, blues, neutrals with an absolute deliberate splash of colour (!) wood, glass, fabrics in every texture & finish. It’s with absolute delight that I can disclose that there is a flurry of activity at Humble Country this week, as we excitedly prepare for our inaugural social media promo video that will be shot here at our absolutely stunning headquarters. With the help of a beautiful location we’ll bring you an inspirational selection of images and video, capturing stylised ‘Al Fresco’ table & garden settings, featuring items from a selection of amazing exhibitors, appearing at our forthcoming shows, which we’ll showcase over the next few weeks. We all see gorgeous pieces in magazines that we’d love for our homes, but often don’t know where to find them. Buying a beautiful product is also pretty straight forward – right, teaming it with complimentary pieces and pulling the whole look together is a little more difficult! We’ll show you how.
